Internship with Tessler Literary Agency

While interning with Tessler Literary Agency, my responsibilities included reading, editing, and reviewing transcripts, as well as vetting contracts, communicating with writers, and participating in the day to day operations of the agency. This internship trained me in meeting deadlines, communicating my ideas and opinions, and line editing, as well as big picture critiquing.

Editor-in-Chief of Embodied Magazine

 As editor-in-chief of this online and print publication, I am in charge of editing all of our content and managing our team. I run our pitch meetings, as well as help authors in their pitch and writing processes. I became editor-in-chief of Embodied after working with the magazine for two years, during which time I worked as a contributing editor before being promoted to the Poetry and Prose section editor, then to Senior Editor, and finally to my current position as editor-in-chief.
